Top 5 Most Wanted Features for iPhone 5

aynilists-logo-new-3-1

Now that 100 people have voted in the 8 rumored iPhone 5 features poll, it’s time to share the results.

36%: iPhone 5 with 3.7 or 4″ Display

As you can see in the poll results below, there’s a great demand for a bigger screen. Although the latest Retina Display probably is here to stay for at least one more generation, it’s what the people want, so Apple: Get designing!

17%: iPhone 5 release in early 2011

Apple best get their groove on and have the next generation iPhone ready before the end of February, or else there’ll be a 17% uprising!

16%: iPhone 5 with 4G connectivity

16% of the voters think it’s time for some better connectivity and higher speeds. Of course, this currently wouldn’t affect a lot of people, as very few mobile networks go any higher than 3G, but it’s a start.

12%: iPhone 5 with super flat design

Personally I think the iPhone 4 looks awesome as it is, but 12% of the voters feel that the next iPhone should be thinner. How thin? Well how about this.

8%: iPhone 5 with an RFID chip

Last in this Top 5 of Most Wanted Features for the iPhone 5 is the rumored RFID chip. Using your phone as a physical identifier (like an ID card) or as a payment method instead of your credit card for example would be pretty awesome. Bring it on Apple!

So, these are the results. If you’re extremely good at mathematics and see that these result-percentages hardly reach 100%, then you’re right. Look below for the rest of the poll’s results, including the three runner-ups.

Few people voted for “no antenna issues” by the way. Maybe these are actual iPhone 4 owners and the others aren’t, willing to switch once their demands are met. Yes, that must be it.

Oh, and another thing: there’s one “other” vote. This was done by GSN and he commented: “Biometric security for the win”. Interested? Here’s some explanation.

If you weren’t done voting: although the iPhone 5 rumor poll is closed, you can still vote for your most wanted iPad 2 feature!

Thanks for voting everyone!
