7 Most Crazy and Weird Items Pinned on Pinterest

Pinterest, an online pinboard social site, allows users to share things they find interesting while surfing the internet, such as photos, videos, or even recipes. People can connect with others who have similar interests. Some things are cute, some are thought provoking posters (a bit like a bumper sticker perhaps), and other things are just plain crazy or weird. Here are some examples of the crazy and weird things people have pinned on Pinterest.
1. A Box of Baking Soda
Maybe not the strangest thing on the list, but sharing such a random, common household item seems a bit weird. This pin shows that while pinterest is primarily about pictures, sometimes the text with the pictures can be just as important to people.
2. Baby Swiffer
There’s just something a little strange about using your baby as a house cleaning tool, but at least this person believes in multitasking.

3. Giant Gummy Worm
A gummy worm that big would take a long time to eat. And probably give the one eating it a really bad stomach ache. Some candy is so memorable it has to be shared.
4. A Chipmunk Spider
One might wonder where people find some of these pictures. So the question is, is this thing a real creature? Or the work of someone playing with photoshop? And what exactly would it be called? Do arachnophobes find this cute or repulsive?

5. Toilet Paper/Kleenex Dispenser?
So is it a toilet paper dispenser? Or Kleenex dispenser? One thing is sure: a runny nose wouldn’t be as much of an inconvenience anymore. They say necessity is the mother of invention. Clearly this person has such a nose problem that looks don’t matter. Maybe the upgrade will include a mobile app to warn when rain is nearby.
6. Smoked Fish and Chicken
Not exactly what one might think of when they think of smoked meat. And probably more hazardous to one’s health. Surprised PETA hasn’t tried removing the picture or objected that it encourages animal cruelty.
7. Giant Fish Sculpture
An interesting use of empty water bottles. Question is who had that much time to put it together? This redefines the concept of a beach sculpture.

These are just a few examples of some of the things one can find on Pinterest: cute, interesting, thought provoking, or just plain crazy, strange, or weird. One can find a lot of things on Pinterest, the online picture collection site based reminiscent of stamp and rock collections.
