Are you looking for a way to kill some time and have an absolute blast doing it? While some sports are fun and engaging like baseball and basketball, there are a handful of others that don’t require actual skill to have the time of your life. These aren’t your grandmothers’ sports, these are sports that could potentially get you killed if you slip up, but that’s why they’re so fun!

Bear Hunting

Top 5 Badass Adrenaline Pumping Hobbies bear hunting 145x109Imagine this: going out with your buddy, completely head to toe in camouflage, hanging up in a tree chair waiting for an unsuspecting grizzly to fall for your bait. Now, I understand everything up till then is probably a complete bore-fest, but once you’re looking down the scope of your rifle about to pull the trigger; your heart rate is going to be up to 150-170 BPM.
Not only that, but if you miss, you do realize bears can climb trees right? If you slip up and shoot that thing in the leg, you’re only going to piss it off. It’s going to come barreling over to your tree, climb it and rip you a new one (to put it nicely).

Base Jumping

Top 5 Badass Adrenaline Pumping Hobbies base jumping 162x109Not only is this activity illegal in the United States and most other developed countries, but it’s also incredibly dangerous. The highest base-jump ever recorded was buy two people in northern India jumping from a height of over 20,000 feet! Also, it’s not only the fall that gets you’re blood pumping; it’s the hope that your parachute catches without issue. If that thing tangles, you’re screwed. If it catches the air just right and turns you in the building you’re jumping off of, you might just get knocked out. You best reconsider putting this on your bucket list.

Motorcycle Racing

Top 5 Badass Adrenaline Pumping Hobbies motor cycle racing 141x109Being a motorcycle enthusiast myself, I can testify that going as fast as you can on a sport bike is absolutely terrifying. It takes up all of your concentration and if you get speed wobble or tip it going into a turn too fast, it might be game over. Should you decide to try racing motorcycles, you need full racing gear, boots, a helmet and why not throw in a balance bracelet while you’re at it; anything to make sure your skin doesn’t touch that pavement at 200 MPH is a good thing.

Free Climbing

Top 5 Badass Adrenaline Pumping Hobbies free climbing 166x109I’m not talking about a jungle gym here folks; I’m talking about scaling a 2000 foot rock face without any safety equipment. No ropes, no nothing and yes, people actually do this. As idiotic as it sounds, people love this sport because of its excitement and satisfaction once they’ve reached safe land. Should you climb the face of a mountain and realize you can’t go up or down, what are you going to do? Take your hand off the wall and call for help? Tough choice, the margin for error is so small, it’s very easy to be plummeting to your death.

Downhill Mountain Biking

Top 5 Badass Adrenaline Pumping Hobbies downhill mountainbike 145x109You’re used to strolling across the beach on a cruiser while laughing about nothing, huh? This is completely the opposite. Should you decide to try this insane sport, you might want to understand what it is. Imagine taking a $4,000 bicycle, strapping on armor and a helmet and going down the face a mountain while dodging boulders, cliffs and trees. This is a tough chore and when you wreck, you better hope that ambulance or medical helicopter is close, ‘because you’re going to need it!
