Top 5 Free Flash Game Communities

Last weekend I’ve been posting lists of free online Flash games (Tower Defense and Platform Strategy games). Now you can make up your own mind by visiting the awesome sites below.

There are a lot of sites that feature free flash games, but most are filled with popups and mis-placed ads, so here’s a list of sites that do better.

1 Armor Games

The design and browser-friendly look of Armor Games definitely places this in the top 5. They also have a lot of exclusive games and most ads are run on the loading screens only.

2 Kongregate

Kongregate must be one of the biggest free gaming communities on the web. Just like Armor Games it features a statistics system that keeps track of the games played and points won, but Kongregate also has awesome Achievements. You can take on weekly Challenges, earn Badges and even win prizes with it. All this with an enormous amount of games to choose from!

3 Ninja Kiwi

With a Ninja father from Japan and Kiwi mother form New-Zealand, the founder of Ninja Kiwi has been set on this earth to bring us free games. Or whatever.

The site isn’t as good looking as Armor Games or Kongregate, but it sure has fine list of cool games to play. Bloon Tower Defense, among others, is one of their flagship titles which can easily have you occupied for a good hour per day =)

4 Newgrounds

Newgrounds also has a very large community of developers building sweet flash games. For some reason, they actually have loads of games that cannot be found elsewhere, which makes it pretty exclusive.

Go have a look, they have other entertaining stuff as well.

5 Max Games

A basic site, but filled with quality flash games. I like this one for it’s simplicity and ease of use. Not that the other sites don’t have this, but it’s very easy to see what games are hot or new right now.
